Founder/Executive Director

Gaye was a part of JITA City Church for over 25 years and through JITA Ministries, she has hosted in her home a small group of women gatherings called Open House. She is now with Victory Faith Ministries and serves as an Usher/Security. For 10 years she co-facilitated JITA Annual Stir up the Gift Celebration with the Senior Pastor, Shon L. Davis. She works at the YMCA as a Care Coordinator. Studied Listen first Skills, she is a care coordinator and a board member for Diversity, Equity & Inclusion at the YMCA. She’s a Lifestyle Coach, Certified Peer Counselor, Founder and CEO of A Woman’s Worth Non-Profit Organization, She’s a Published Author, Graphic Designer and a Poet.

President

Patricia is an Owner/Designer Patty’s M~O Designs. Bridal Alteration Specialist She designs custom apparel for Beyond Pink, a nonprofit organization dedicated to raising funds and education for Thermography. Volunteer Designer. Patricia worked as a manager for Richard Allen Apartments Low income Apartments. Certification Certificate for HUD Housing, Campfire Girls troop leader and volunteer training classes. She was the President of Spokane Ballet Ensemble and costume designer Dance Center. She served as Spokane President Women in Networking. Patricia likes to refer herself as triple threat. Food, Fashion and fun is her favorite past time. Her mission is to help women live and love the skin they are in. She encourages women to claim and embrace these words as their own.

Vice-President

Wilhelmina graduated from Eastern Washington University with her Bachelor’s degree, in Interpersonal Communications. She has worked as a Case Manager for several years. She is a (CPC) Certified Peer Counselor and an Assistant Pastor. Wilhelmina have worked with Women for over 30 years to train, teach, and build personal skills in promoting healthy social relationships. Wilhelmina also incorporates music, art, poetry, and tone theory with helping individuals build their Self Worth.

Treasurer

Desiree has been married for 48 yrs, she has three children, three grandchildren and a great granddaughter, born June 25, 2023. Desiree have served in the Air Force as a computer Tech for over 20 years. After her retirement she started two businesses. D’s Devine Transportation, and D’s Dependable Daycare, transporting the elderly to their daily activities and destinations. She is currently working with AWW (A Woman’s Worth) as she endeavors to help each woman see the value in their lives one woman at a time.

Outreach Director

Karen has more than twenty-five years of experience in the nonprofit sector and specializes in the areas of social change, community development, and cultural and civic leadership Recognized on a national scale as an advocate who boldly speaks out on behalf of others on social issues ranging from poverty to racism, Karen is well known by the locals, respected as a trusted community leader, and deemed as a friend to individuals in crisis. A Washington State certified crisis & crime victim advocate she has provided more than 20 years of advocacy, information, and referral services to scores of individuals experiencing problems, a crisis, or a life-altering situation. A motivational speaker, business consultant, empowerment specialist, minister, and life coach, she is the mother of five children and the grandmother of eleven.

Boardmember

Arnita is a Compliance Director with over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry and currently serves as a Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging Ambassador for CLA LLP - a national professional services firm. She was born and raised in Chicago, IL and currently resides in Bothell, WA with her husband Earl. Prior to her move out west, she served as the Special Assistant to the President/CEO of South Central Community Services, Inc. - a not-for-profit social service agency with 19 major programs at the time - for over 10 years. Arnita is passionate about helping others achieve their goals no matter how big or small, but especially passionate about empowering minority women to dream big and reach for the stars. Her goal is to continually uplift and have each one, reach and/or teach another. Arnita believes that you gain Power and Strength when you know your worth.
